We’re getting ready for the tree sale! Hope you can come! April 26 & 27, 10am-1pm. Below you’ll find a provisional list of what we plan to have available…it’s long but hopefully fun or at least dreamy to read through. Through the winter, the cows live where the tree sale will be staged, so we can’t set up the barn the way it looks in the photo above until they’re out! As of today, April 10th, two of our cow-moms have calved and we have two sweet red calves–a small heifer and chunky bull–keeping us company in our barn. All the cows are feeling the spring air and getting frisky–and we have just a few more weeks before the pastures will be ready to feel their hooves and feed their bellies. For now, more hay! And soon, the tree sale.

AND MORE!
What is the price of your birch trees? How tall are they? Do you take plastic or do we need to bring cash?
Yes, we do take plastic! I emailed you directly about the birches.
What are your Granny Smith apple trees priced at?
Hi Sheryl! All our fruit trees are priced right around $35. Some are a little more or less depending on size and vigor.
Hello I’m looking for maine blueberry plants to buy. Do you sell those?
Hi Robbin, we do not sell low bush, i.e. wild Maine blueberry plants. I’m not sure where you could source those locally. We will be selling a selection of highbush blueberry plants this year, however!
Driving far, to be prepared, do you anticipate selling out of cherry trees? Not sure if I can swing up there quite yet, just wondering. Also, roughly what is the cost per tree? TY!
Hi Kate, I do expect we’ll sell out of cherries trees; last year we sold out within the first half-hour or so. We’re trying to ramp up our cherry supply to get closer to demand, but it takes a couple years to grow them in the nursery, so it’s a slow process! Most of the trees are $35, and occasionally we’ll have some marked up or down based on their size and vigor.
Is it okay to show up early? Do you have a document that shares best practice for preparing the site, planting, and pest management information? We are super excited to start our orchard, see you Saturday 🙂
Hey Matt! In the past people have started lining up around 9am but we don’t let them in to start shopping until 10am. You’re welcome to come early! We have a little printout with some basic tree planting info but you can find more complete instructions online, e.g. at the Fedco Trees website. See you Saturday!
Hey there, can we pre order? Also are most of the peach trees also 35?
Hi Whitney–we don’t take any preorders! The peach and cherry trees are $40.
Hello! I am interested in pricing on the peaches, raspberries, & honey Crisp apples!
Hi Chelsey! Peaches are $40, raspberries are $15 for a bundle of 5 canes, and Honeycrisp apples are $35 (or $25 if they’re small/discounted).
